Nominate your Citizen of the Year

13 November 2017 | Community
Nominations for the City of Canada Bay 2017 Citizen of the Year awards are now open, says Mayor Angelo Tsirekas.

“It is important to recognise the work of our fellow citizens and I encourage every community member to get involved and nominate someone,” Mayor Tsirekas said.

“The Citizen of the Year awards provides the perfect opportunity for us to reward those residents who work hard to support our local community each and every day.

“Our community is brimming with talented individuals. We all know someone who could be nominated, so it’s time to show them our appreciation.”

Nominees may be respected volunteers, social advocates, accomplished sporting representatives or business professionals who work above and beyond to create sustainable improvements for our community.

Awards will be presented to our most outstanding community members in the following categories:

Citizen of the Year
Young Citizen of the Year
Sports Citizen of the Year
Arts and Culture Citizen of the Year.
