Wet Weather Field Updates

As of Monday, 04 June all fields are CLOSED:

In the event of inclement weather, Council reserves the right to close any fields it deems necessary.

Council endeavours to have all fields usable and employs a range of methods to notify of wet weather status updates.

An SMS update is sent to a pre-approved list of club personnel.  If you are a coach or manager and feel you should be on this list, please contact your club.

Council's wet weather line, 9911 6375, is updated when status changes occur.  In most cases this will happen by 3pm on weekdays.  Weekend updates will usually be made in the morning, when required.

This page of the website is also updated on weekdays with a full listing, if closures occur.

As weather is unpredictable, Council reserves the right to alter its decisions on any ground closures after considering the current weather conditions either through weekdays or the weekend.  Ideally, if you are unsure of ground conditions always call the wet weather line.
