Neon Nightfall lights up Five Dock

Great North Road lit up on Friday, 20 June, as part of the City of Canada Bay’s Neon Nightfall event.

Highlights of the event included:

• A DJ set that transformed the street into an open-air dance floor
• Immersive neon light installations, perfect for selfies and social media snaps
• Special treats and eats on offer from surrounding businesses

City of Canada Bay Mayor Megna said the event was not only a chance to enjoy a unique night out but also a fantastic opportunity to support local businesses.

“This festival is really about showcasing the wonderful business we have in Five Dock and the fantastic food and goods they have on offer,” Mayor Megna said.

“Our local businesses are a big part of what makes Five Dock so special, and events like this are designed to bring people together while shining a spotlight on them.”

The community came together to eat, dance and explore everything Five Dock has to offer.

This initiative was a partnership with Sydney Metro.
