Sustainable Story Craft (Drop-In)

Step into a world of storytelling and craft in our Sustainable Story Craft drop-in!

This hands-on family activity invites children to create their favourite story characters using recycled materials. Use our equipment to make, craft and decorate your characters so they can perform magical scenes in front of printed backdrops. You can choose characters from beloved tales like Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks, and Rapunzel (or make up your own)!

The session begins with an interactive recycling game: “Oh no, all our storybook characters have turned into rubbish!” Families will sort through recyclable items, learn eco-friendly practices, and then use these materials to recreate their favourite characters. 

This event is suitable for children aged 4+ and must be accompanied by an adult.
