To improve the City of Canada Bay's liveability, the NSW Government has awarded the City of Canada Bay over $60 million for projects to improve our open spaces and transport connections along the Parramatta Road Corridor, as part of the Parramatta Road Urban Amenity Improvement Program.

This includes $48 million towards the $84 million Concord Oval Community and Sports Precinct, proudly funded by the Australian Government, the NSW Government, and the City of Canada Bay, in association with the Wests Tigers.

Other projects within the City of Canada Bay funded through the Parramatta Road Urban Amenity Improvement Program include:

• $7 million East-West Regional Cycleway, connecting Concord to the Bay Run. Proudly funded by the NSW Government.
• $4 million Charles Heath Reserve Community and Play Space. Proudly funded by the NSW Government.
• $1.7 million Broughton Street Cycleway from Queen Elizabeth Park in Concord to Parramatta Road. Proudly funded by the NSW Government.
