Writing and Roleplaying Workshop

Writing and Roleplaying Workshop

Five Dock Library View in maps

For ages 13–18.

Unlock your writing potential through the magic of tabletop roleplaying!

Join us for 2.5 hours of adventure and storytelling, where you'll dive into a collaborative Dungeons & Dragons quest designed to spark your creativity and improve your literacy skills.

Throughout the session, you’ll take part in creative exercises that enhance your writing. If our group of adventurers stumbles upon a quaint forest village, for instance, the roleplay may pause for you to craft a tourism ad for the area. When you encounter a famous queen, you might work in pairs to write a vivid description of her clothing and jewellery.

By the end of the quest, you'll gain a range of valuable skills that come from collaborative roleplay: confidence, lateral thinking, turn-taking, conflict resolution, and teamwork.

No prior tabletop roleplaying experience required—just bring your imagination!
