Check out some of the fantastic festive events and activities happening across the City of Canada Bay this year. From craft kits to markets, there’s something for everyone!

Christmas carollers

Celebrate the festive season with Christmas carollers across some of Canada Bay’s town centres! The carollers will delight us with Christmas classics on the following dates:

  • 3 December 5:30–8:30pm — Fred Kelly Place, Five Dock
  • 10 December 5:30–8:30pm — Church Street, Drummoyne
  • 17 December 5–8:30pm — Jellicoe Street, Concord
  • 23 December 5:30–8:30pm — Rhodes Amphitheatre, Rhodes.

 

Christmas markets in Drummoyne

Come along to the pop-up shared space on the corner of Formosa Street and Lyons Road and grab some presents at the Christmas Markets.

  • Friday, 4 December 3–8pm
  • Friday, 11 December 3–8pm
  • Friday, 18 December 3–8pm.

 

Christmas competition

Vote for your favourite Christmas window for the chance to win a $200 gift voucher!

The City of Canada Bay asked local businesses to decorate their shopfronts and shop windows to spread some Christmas cheer across the local area.

To enter the comp, visit collaborate.canadabay.nsw.gov.au/xmas-vote, check out the festive displays online, and vote for your favourite image.

The competition closes Monday, 14 December.

 

Take-home craft kits

City of Canada Bay Libraries brings you an extra special treat this Christmas with a fun-filled family activity kit for everyone to enjoy.

Packed full of creative craft, festive colouring, amusing puzzles and much more, this take-home kit is guaranteed to keep everyone entertained for hours.

Available to collect from any one of our libraries from Monday, 14 December while stocks last.

 

Mayor’s Giving Tree

Join in the real spirit of Christmas by bringing donations of non-perishable food items, new toys, toiletries and gift cards for the Mayor’s Giving Tree at the following locations until Thursday, 17 December:

  • City of Canada Bay Civic Centre in Drummoyne
  • Concord Library
  • Five Dock Library
  • Five Dock Leisure Centre
  • The Learning Space at The Connection, Rhodes
  • Miele Specialist Bing Lee showroom, Drummoyne.

This year, the City of Canada Bay is also accepting donations through cashless payments at the above locations except the Miele Specialist. Please ensure your donations are not gift wrapped.
