This month the City of Canada Bay is excited to welcome the Robot Ball back at The Connection, Rhodes.

“This month we look forward to welcoming more than 250 people at The Connection, Rhodes for our popular Robot Ball on Friday, 16 June,” said City of Canada Bay Mayor Angelo Tsirekas.

Kicking off from 6pm, the Ball is a two-hour tech spectacle presented by City of Canada Bay Libraries, where humans and robots come together to learn, dance and play.

“The Robot Ball offers something for the whole family, making cutting edge technology accessible for all. I encourage everyone to come along to enjoy a variety of hands-on activities and give robot dancing a go!” added Mayor Tsirekas.

Visitors can expect to discover the latest robotic technologies, demonstrated by expert facilitators, and gain and insight into the exciting world of competition robotics with University of NSW's Emu Robotics Team and Bossley Park's Wolfgang 6434.

There will also be music, pet robots to pat, plus a range of fun activities for kids including:

  • LEGO EV3 Bowling
  • Rover Racing with Arduino robots
  • Ozobot challenges
  • Robot dancing and more.

There will also be a Robot Costume Parade on the night, and guests are invited to dress up as a robot to take part in the show!
