3D Print a Dragon Magnet

Join us for some 3D modelling as we guide you through creating your very own Year of the Dragon magnet! In this workshop we'll take you and your child through the basics of 3D modelling with Fusion 360 to create a printable 3D model! During the workshop, you and your child will learn:

• How to navigate 3D modelling software
• How to start a sketch
• How to extrude a sketch into a 3D model
• How to edit a 3D model

Fusion 360 is free to download, so everyone can also continue modelling at home after the session.

Suitable for families with kids aged 8–12 years. No previous experience with 3D printing is required, however participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops with Fusion 360 downloaded.

We design the learning and social experience of our workshops very carefully – it is important for the enjoyment and safety of all participants that your child is within the age range for each session and accompanied by an adult.
