Join us at Five Dock Library for an exploration of Aeolian heritage through a series of presentations. 

Lecture 1: A Virtual Tour of the Museum of Aeolian Emigration in Salina by Cristina Neri

Join a virtual tour through the museum collection and discover the factors and events that shaped the Aeolian diaspora in the New World. The tour includes a detailed walk through of each room and its collection.

Lecture 2: Researching your Italian Ancestors

Join Michael Angelini and Local Studies Librarian John Johnson for a detailed workshop on researching your Italian ancestors.

Lecture 3: Exploring Aeolian Proverbs
Sunday, 27 August 2–3:30pm

Join Janetta Ziino for a fun journey through Aeolian proverbs, in the Aeolian dialect. U Muttu Anticu 'Un Sbagghia Mai! (Translation: Ancient sayings are never wrong!)

This will be followed by a poem and music Vieni cu mi, ‘Come with me’ written and composed by Diana Santamaria with video imagery by Antonio Lo Schiavo.
