Art Exhibition: Myths and Legends

Myths & Legends ft. Artroom youth collective III are a series of mixed media artworks created by local youth, aged 10-14 on the theme of myths and legends.

Learning about illustration techniques and figurative anatomy, the students developed their own mythical character designs and converted these into various types of artworks and merchandise items.

The students attend regular weekly art lessons at the studio Artroom Handmade in Mortlake. The aims of the lessons are not only to build artmaking skills but also a time for the teenagers and tweens to gather, heal, and respond creatively to the difficulties of the last couple of years.
