Council meeting

To combat the spread of COVID-19, the NSW Government has amended the Local Government Act to allow Council Meetings to be held remotely rather than by physical presence in the Council Chamber.

From April 2020 until further notice, all Council Meetings will be held virtually and Councillors will participate through Microsoft Teams. The public will be able to view a live stream of each meeting in the usual way, via live stream to our Facebook Page at 6pm the evening of the Council Meeting. Archived recordings of the meetings will continue to be made available on our Accessing Agendas/Minutes section here.

Request to submit written submission to Council

Physical attendance at a Council Meeting and addressing Council at the meeting is now suspended until further notice. If you would like to put a written submission to Council, the item must be on the Agenda and you will need to submit your written submission via email CMsubmission@canadabay.nsw.gov.au by 3pm on the day of the meeting.
