Exhibition: Our Art Tells Our Stories

You are invited to a contemporary art exhibition by artists from Lilyfield Early Learning Centre.  This exhibition is proudly curated by children, educators, and artist in residence: Georgia Freebody.

The work exhibited is a celebration of the way our art tells the story of who we are, where we belong and how we grow, learn, and create.

Join us to explore and wonder:

• How can colour, light, temperature, and texture tell our story?
• How our favourite songs, books, and poems, come alive in our play?
• How collage and assemblage tell a story of unity, harmony, and identity?
• How can we build habitats for belonging?

The theme of our exhibition is inspired by:

• The narrative power of our creative process,
• The materials and country we are privileged to work on,
• The Five Dock Library, a place of rich history and community,

Thus, the name: Our Art Tells Our Stories.
