Exhibition: Under the Water and Above by Natasha Allen

Natasha Allen is a Sydney-based artist working across the disciplines of watercolour, photography and ceramics. Her watercolours are usually of the environment as well as still life.

Natasha enjoys the translucency of watercolours, and likes the way light plays on the fruit and other objects depicted.

Natasha has exhibited in Brazil, China, Korea, the Netherlands, South Africa and the UK. She has a Bachelor of Visual Arts Honours from Sydney College of the Arts, The University of Sydney. She has lectured in sculpture and 3D computer animation at Sydney College of the Arts; and also lectured in Australian art and animation at Huai'an Institute of Technology in China.

Natasha has joined Cornucopia Art Group in Gladesville where she enjoys practicing her watercolour painting and sharing ideas about artmaking with other artists.
