Giveaways and cooking demo at Concord Farmers Market

Come visit the Council stalls at the Concord Farmers Market on Sunday, 16 February!

Here's what we have in store:

• Composting education: Toni the Veggie Lady, a composting expert, will be there to teach you all about composting and answer any composting questions to help you get set-up.
• Native plant giveaway: Join us in supporting local wildlife by adding native greenery to your garden or balcony! As a local resident, you’re invited to collect up to three free native plants for your household — a simple way to create thriving habitats for birds, bees, and other important pollinators.
• Induction cooking demonstration: Join Climate Action Burwood-Canada Bay for a hands-on induction cooking demo, where you'll be able to taste treats prepared on a cooktop powered by an electric car!
