July School Holidays: Micro:bit Pet

Have you ever wanted a pet? In this activity, we'll show you how to code your very own virtual pet to feed, walk, and play with!

Head to our July School Holiday page for instructions and a template to turn your Micro: bit into a cute pet (or perhaps a furious monster!).

The activity can be completed using a virtual Micro:bit, or for a limited time Micro: bit STEM kits are available to borrow from The Learning Space using your Canada Bay Libraries membership card. 

This activity is recommended for ages eight and up. 

A Micro:bit is a programmable pocket-sized computer with a LED display, sound, accelerometer, compass, and BlueTooth built-in. It's great for learning how to code games, program tunes, and more!

Booking

No bookings required. Collect your Micro:bit STEM kit at The Learning Space, Rhodes from Saturday, 4 July. Open 10am-5pm daily. Limited numbers, so get in quick!
