You are invited to meet author, journalist and public speaker Amal Awad at Five Dock Library.

In Fridays with my folks, Amal examines how society struggles to deal with ageing and illness, prompted by her own changing relationship with her parents.

With humour, humanity and honesty, Amal shakes off the taboo surrounding one of the most universal of human experiences.
