Minecraft Zoo Challenge

Attention Minecraft fans and animal lovers, this is your chance to show off your creativity and engineering skills as we build a zoo!

These school holidays, BYOD as we collaborate, design and build a zoo for our village. You will get to decide which animal and enclosure you want to create as we put your animal knowledge to the test. At the end of the workshop, our zoo will be launched, with all participants celebrating and enjoying our village together. So come and help us build our very own Minecraft Zoo, plus make some new friends along the way!

For this workshop, please review this information carefully as each participant is required to:

• Bring their own laptop and charger as this is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) workshop.
• Have the latest Minecraft: Java Edition installed onto their laptop.
• Have previous experience with using Minecraft: Java Edition on a laptop.
• Submit your Minecraft: Java Edition account name which is the character's name (this is not the email address or Microsoft account).

Please note that Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (often played on Xbox, PS4, or iPad) will not work for this workshop.

Suitable for ages 8–12 years.

We design the learning and social experience of our workshops very carefully, and it is important for the enjoyment and safety of all participants that your child is within the age range for this program.
