Nature photography competition

City of Canada Bay is calling on the community to celebrate the area’s picturesque landscapes and wildlife - from beautiful waterways, mangroves and green leafy parks to colourful birds, lizards and even the rare, Bar-tailed Godwit – as part of a nature photography competition.

The competition aims to showcase what the community values most about the area in which they live and work.

Each unique entry will be judged on its creativity, ability to highlight local natural beauty as well as photographic techniques applied.  

The winning entrant will receive a $100 restaurant voucher with two runners-up awarded $50 restaurant vouchers. 

Photography competition entrants can click here to email your photos. The emailed photo must be an original image and the email must include the entrants name and contact number. Photos should be saved as an uncompressed JPEG.

The competition opens on Tuesday, 18 July and will close at 11.59pm on Sunday, 13 August.

Selected photos will be included in a photo gallery on Council’s Facebook page. The winner will also be announced through City of Canada Bay’s social media and enewsletters.
