Open Maker is your place to drop-in, create, repair and be part of a community that enjoys making stuff! These casual, self-led sessions are the perfect opportunity to work with peers, share knowledge and use our Makerspace equipment for free, such as the 3D printers, die cutting machines and electronics. For more information, bookings and resources, please go to our dedicated Open Maker website.
Free for adults aged 16+ years. You will need a Library membership and will have to complete the Makerspace Safety Induction, which can be done on your first visit so make sure you book in.
Open Maker runs every Monday and Thursday 6-8pm; and every second and fourth Saturday of the month 2-4pm (excluding any public holidays). Please note, when an Open Maker Workshop is scheduled, the Makerspace is closed for personal project use and focused on the facilitator’s activity.
This is a free event.
Bookings are recommended, but not essential. Please click here to secure and prioritise your spot in Open Maker.
