Open Maker 2025

Open Maker is your place to work on your own projects! Come and drop-in, create, repair and be part of a community that enjoys making stuff! These casual, self-led sessions are the perfect opportunity to work with peers, share knowledge and use our Makerspace equipment for free, such as a laser cutter, 3D printers, die cutting machines and electronics. To access the Makerspace, participants must:

• Be 16+ with a full library membership
• Book a session in advance
• Complete a Safety Induction
• Adhere to the Safe Operating Procedures
• Wear enclosed shoes and appropriate PPE
• Not use external equipment or tools

Please note, when an Open Maker Workshop is scheduled, the Makerspace is closed for personal project use and focused on the facilitator’s activity.
