The Makerspace, The Learning Space, The Connection View in maps

Have you ever wanted a robot pet? Create your very own virtual pet with a Micro:Bit in this workshop!

From Tamagotchi to Pokemon, raising a virtual pet has always been popular with kids — but what if they could code their own pet? In this workshop we cover the basics of coding and get crafty to create a fun skin for the pet.

Micro:bits are microcomputers that are great for creating games and interactive experiences. The Micro:bit and accessories are included in the price, so you can take it home and continue your programming!

This workshop is a full day. Please make sure your child has lunch, snacks, and drink bottle.

AGE GROUP: 8-12 years

We design the learning and social experience of our workshops very carefully, and it is important for the enjoyment and safety of all participants that your child is within the age range for this program.
