Writing your memoir will lead you into emotionally difficult territory. How much of what you write will be the truth? And how do you select what to write about? In this workshop, you will learn how to choose a subject, plan, focus, and begin a memoir.
What makes for good subjects in memoirs? Family relationships, a passionate interest, a phase or era of your life? The differences between autobiography and memoir will also be explored, and the idea of self-disclosure will be addressed.
