Can a dustpan or broom be a robot? How about a milk frother?
You can make robots that crawl, dance, wiggle, sweep and scoop using everyday objects and simple electronics. We're turning The Learning Space into a simple bot maker lab every Tuesday during Vivid Ideas. Get together with your family and friends in a group of up to four people, and come along to join the fun as we guide you through making simple robots that explore common robotic mechanisms.
The ticket for this event is for a group of between two and four people to work and make together. At least one person in your group must be 16 or over. We'll be using tools and some of the processes are difficult for little fingers, so isn't suitable for children under seven years of age.
Up to four people per table, 10 groups.
