Positioned north of Five Dock are three waterside villages; Abbotsford, Chiswick and Wareemba.
Abbotsford is home to the historic Sydney Rowing Club, one of the oldest businesses in the City of Canada Bay, with over 130 years of service. It is also home to the award-winning Dedes Restaurant and the Watergrill. The diverse dining experience features the cuisines of Italy, Spain, Thailand, China and Modern Australia, which may be complemented with a hand-selected wine or beer from one of the two wine and beer emporiums.
The centre provides convenience everyday shopping with a newsagent, pharmacy, convenience store, drycleaners, hair salon and gift store.
Wareemba, positioned on Great North Road between Five Dock and Abbotsford, has increasingly become a sought-after boutique shopping and dining experience. Italian influenced, it is home to three established Italian eateries in addition to a modern deli, Chinese, Thai and general take-away.
It is a unique shopping destination featuring an internationally-recognised toy and collectables shop, designer children's boutique, high end women's and men's fashion retailers and a jeweller. It also offers a supermarket, liquor store, pharmacies, newsagents, post office and hair and beauty salons to meet shoppers' daily needs.
Chiswick's main village shops are located directly opposite Chambers Park, providing the perfect waterside location to enjoy your pizza, fish and chips and time with family and friends.

Breakfast Point, Cabarita and Mortlake are local village shops positioned within easy walking distance of one another, providing a range of services for visitors and residents.
Many come here to enjoy a relaxed meal in our cafés and restaurants, or to share a family take-away feast at one of the many waterside parks or at home. Waterside dining is available at Angelo's on the Bay at Prince Edward Park and at d'Albora Marinas, which features Vela Dining and Bar and Sanders Kiosk.

Conveniently located at Concord West train station, this vibrant corner is full with convenient shopping and dining choices.
Positioned at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Queen Street dining and take away options include trendy cafes, a classic pub, traditional take away businesses and a Chinese restaurant. Amongst the leafy outlook, enjoy lunch and dinner or linger over breakfast with the newspaper.
Pop up the street to Concord Road to see some great public art, check out some antiques, look after your pet or get a treatment from one of the local physios. This area was part of the Refresh Concord West project.

The Bay Run
A well known walk in Sydney is the Bay Run, a seven kilometre paved trail around Iron Cove Bay. Start your journey underneath the Iron Cove Bridge along Henley Marine Drive, named after Sir Thomas Henley described as 'one of the most prominent figures in the public life of NSW'.

Concord Road Precinct
Concord Road, North Strathfield is a bustling main street home to approximately 40 retail and commercial businesses. Council is currently working with the community to implement the Concord Road, North Strathfield Place Plan.
Renowned for its eclectic mix of restaurants and produce businesses, it won’t disappoint your taste buds or culinary adventures. Dining options feature the cuisines on Vietnam, India, China, Thailand, and Italy. Food shopping is well serviced by a fully stocked deli, quality butcher, bakery, liquor store and large supermarket.
Your everyday convenience needs are meet with a pharmacy, Australia Post office, newsagent, discount store, tailor and many a variety of health and wellbeing businesses including hair and beauty, general practitioners, dentists, optometrists and alternative therapies.
Bakehouse Quarter Precinct
The Bakehouse Quarter has revitalised the old Arnott's biscuit factory as a new and exciting destination in the City of Canada Bay.The design of the Bakehouse Quarter celebrates its history with clever urban design that blends the traditional signs and warehouse buildings with ultra modern constructions.
A solid selection of retail, health and wellbeing, and entertainment outlets including an array of restaurants, bars and cafes, the precinct provides the perfect business and social environment. The cobblestone road and Edwardian style-lighting echos back to the turn of the last century when the original Arnott's factory was first built.

Rhodes is a unique centre overlooking the parks around and waters of Homebush Bay. Built on a 40 hectares site it has transformed a former industrial site in a to a fabulous destination which features seven great parks throughout the development, as well as cycle and pedestrian paths that join in to Bicentennial Park.
Mirvac's Rhodes Shopping Centre is a great shopping destination directly off Homebush Bay Drive.
The Rhodes peninsula is shaped by the Parramatta River with Brays Bay to the east and Homebush Bay to the west. Rhodes boasts an evocative foreshore which has many moods, colours and reflections and views across the water and unexpected vistas are important to the character of the place. The foreshore is a natural focus for walking, cycling, family outings and community events. It is not surprising that it is a popular proposed location for public art. The potential to include the cultural exploration of the River crossing through integrated art as part of the Homebush Bay Bridge is an exciting dimension of this core theme.
