This April there will be number of ANZAC services happening throughout the City of Canada Bay.
“As ANZAC Day approaches, it’s a time when our community comes together to reflect on the sacrifices of those who have served in times of conflict,” City of Canada Bay Mayor Michael Megna said.
“There will be several opportunities for residents to pay their respects and join us in commemorating the men and women who have served our country.”
Saturday, 20 April
Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway
10:30am Service
The ANZAC address will be delivered by Captain Richard Brickacek CSC, DSM, RAN.
Sunday, 21 April
Five Dock War Memorial, Five Dock Park,
10am march from Five Dock RSL to Five Dock Park.
11am Service at the Five Dock War Memorial followed by a sausage sizzle.
Thursday, 25 April
Pavilion of Honour, Queen Elizabeth Park
Corner of Broughton and Crane Street, Concord.
5am Dawn Service, followed by a sausage sizzle.
Thursday, 25 April
Drummoyne Cenotaph (Council Chambers)
1A Marlborough Street, Drummoyne.
5:45am Dawn Service, followed by a sausage sizzle.
