Christmas carols
Our town centres will come alive with festive cheer this holiday season! Join us at the following locations to enjoy carols, free face-painting and take photos with Santa.
- Tuesday, 10 December: Fred Kelly Place Five Dock
- Tuesday, 17 December: Union Square, Rhodes
Donate to our Giving Trees
As part of a charity initiative with the St Vincent de Paul Society, Council has arranged Giving Trees across the City.
Bring donations of non-perishable food items, new toys, toiletries and gift cards to the following locations until Friday, xx December:
- Drummoyne Civic Centre
- Five Dock Library
- Concord Library
- The Learning Space, Rhodes
- Concord Oval Recreation Centre
Donated items will be distributed by St Vincent de Paul to help those in need.
Community events
Carols at Halliday Park is returning on Wednesday, 18 December from 5pm. Hosted by Community for Communities and sponsored by the City of Canada Bay, the event will feature live entertainment, food trucks, face-painting, plus a special visit from Santa!
Christmas on Majors Bay Road will also be returning on Thursday, 12 December from 5–7pm. There’ll be Christmas carols plus a special visit from Santa!
