Community & events | 05 March 2025

The City of Canada Bay has launched its 2025 Community Grants Program!

This program provides financial support for not-for-profit organisations, groups and, in some instances schools, to undertake events, community and environmental projects.

“At the City of Canada Bay, we are committed to supporting projects and events that enhance our environment, improve the wellbeing of residents and bring a sense of community to our area,” said City of Canada Bay Mayor Michael Megna.

“This year the program will see more than $165,000 awarded to local community groups and initiatives that benefit our community.”

Grants will be awarded across three categories:

  • Community Projects: fund projects and initiatives that facilitate a connected and inclusive community where people are engaged and supported to participate.
  • Event Grants: provide support for community-focused events that energise public spaces, foster a sense of connection between people and their surroundings, and celebrate the rich diversity of the area.
  • Environmental Grants: encourage and support positive environmental and sustainability outcomes in the area.

Applications for the 2025 Community Grants Program are open until Friday, 21 March. For more information and to apply visit our Collaborate page.
