The City of Canada Bay has announced the appointment of John Clark as the Council’s new General Manager.
John Clark comes to the City of Canada Bay from Waverly Council where he served as the Director of Customer Service and Organisational Improvement.
Mr Clark brings a wealth of experience and with him, having spent over 20 years in the Local Government sector at the City of Ryde, Ku-ring-gai Council and in his current role at Waverly as well as in NSW Government where he served as the Executive Director of Corporate and Operational Services at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
“I would like to congratulate John on his appointment,” City of Canada Bay Mayor Angelo Tsirekas said.
“I am confident he will build on our strong foundation, ensuring a bright future for the City of Canada Bay.”
Mr Clark said he was thrilled to be coming on board as Council looks forward to a year ahead which will see the delivery of a number of major projects including the Redevelopment of Concord Oval and the Council’s Community Strategic Plan.
“This Council has very exciting years ahead and I look forward to working with Councillors and staff to deliver great outcomes for the community,” Mr Clark said.
