Keeping our roads safe is a top priority at the City of Canada Bay.
In the 2023/24 financial year we will be investing $4.2 million into our roads as part of our Annual Roads Resurfacing Program to ensure that all road users can enjoy safe and comfortable journeys. We will invest $1 million in pedestrian crossing safety improvements and deliver four new pedestrian crossings.
We will also continue to contribute to the circular economy, with 30 per cent of the 12,000 tonnes of asphalt we lay throughout the city consisting of reclaimed asphalt pavement materials.
