Museum exhibition: Tea and bickies on the front verandah
From the east came the delightful smell of coffee from Bushells, to be joined by the delicious smell of freshly baked biscuits drifting in from Arnotts in the west.
On any fine day in certain parts of Concord, residents could enjoy a calorie-free morning tea while relaxing on their front verandah.
The exhibition will be on display at Concord Library in June.
