Five Dock celebrates everything Italian.

This exhibition highlights how Italian culture has been celebrated at Ferragosto over the past 20 years, exploring the fun, the food and the people at Five Dock's annual Italian street festival.

We are showcasing original Ferragosto posters, brochures and information published by the City of Canada Bay and stunning photographs by Elena Sottolano and Ben Cregan from Ciao Magazine.

Chris Tobin is a respected Darug man and one of the Traditional Owners of this part of the world. He is well known for his extensive knowledge of local culture, history and special sites and has worked with National Parks as an Aboriginal Ranger and Guide for over a decade.

Chris' hands-on and interactive presentation on The Sustainable Toolkit, includes both women's and men's traditional tools, fur, art and weapons, dancing and ochre painting. Underpinning this experience are strong messages of sustainability and caring for Country.
